This grinder set is constructed of wood, stainless steel, aluminum, and a ceramic rotor. BOTH GRINDERS ARE INTERCHANGEABLE, so it doesn’t matter which one you use for salt or pepper.
ADJUSTABLE GRINDING SETTING: The ceramic grinding mechanism allows you to accomplish the final crush, mill, and grind. TWIST SLIGHTLY the nut at the top of the grinder from loose to tight to adjust the coarseness from coarse to fine as desired (ANTICLOCKWISE for coarseness, CLOCKWISE for fineness).
